For the 2012-2013 Bienenstock Furniture Library Design Competition, entrants were asked to design an elegant chair, which is feasible and suitable for mass production. The results have been announced now and SCAD M.F.A. furniture design student Kai-ning Huang has grabbed the first place and a $10,000 scholarship for her Delta chair. The Delta Chair by Kai-ning Huang has been designed for public spaces and caught the judges’ attention as an outstanding design for its modularity and comfort.

The Delta chair offers users privacy and personal space. The seat flaunts a trapezoidal space that makes space for users’ personal items, such as a handbag or backpack. The chair can be arranged in a variety of ways, including honeycombs to make the most out of the available space. Done in various colors, Delta chair is made using wood or metal frames with soft cushion seats and a pillow.

Great list man! These appliances are must have to every modern kitchen. One appliance I can suggest to the list are kitchen pop-up power outlets like this http://power-tower.com.au/product/powertower/ for charging or providing power outlets to kitchen appliances.

Nice try, the original design from which this fixture is derived is from Toronto CASTOR DESIGNS. Your ripped off version doesn’t allow light to glow to the ends of the tubes.
