Muse lamp by Anarkhos Design

A’ Award and Competitions have lately announced that the project Muse by Kevin Lim, Yo Sup Ryu and Jun Ho Park of Anarkhos Design has won the prestigious Golden A’ Design Award at Lighting Products and Lighting Projects. Born out of the challenge to physically manifest different qualities of light into a single form, the Muse lamp embodies ‘light’, ‘heat’ and ‘time’ into a single product. The design comprises of a luminaire with a quantity of water that continuously evaporates and condenses within a contained vessel.

The condensed droplets of water disturb the surface of the water at regular intervals to change the quality of light filling up the space. Inspired by Wŏn Buddhism, the Muse lamp is the expression of the union of ‘nihility’ and ‘fullness’ and has been designed with a thought that it could have a strong rehabilitative quality. The quantity of water, the bulb wattage and the temperature of the installation space needs to be customized for each installation to achieve the right ‘mood’ for the space.

Great list man! These appliances are must have to every modern kitchen. One appliance I can suggest to the list are kitchen pop-up power outlets like this http://power-tower.com.au/product/powertower/ for charging or providing power outlets to kitchen appliances.

Nice try, the original design from which this fixture is derived is from Toronto CASTOR DESIGNS. Your ripped off version doesn’t allow light to glow to the ends of the tubes.

So where do I buy one?
