Typographic Bookshelf

If you are looking for a minimalist and way to organize your volumes, the Typographic bookshelf by industrial designer Mebrure Oral might interest you. The Typographic bookshelf has been designed with an aim to simplify the organization of books and encourage the users to read more. Highlights of the simple design are the two separate sections – “has been read” and will be read” – that function as reminders to help the bibliophiles.

The Typographic elements and perpendicular lines function as bookends. Materials used are beech, MDF board, lacquer. The Typographic Bookshelf costs $980. Mebrure Oral started the Meb Rure Design Studio in 2012.
