Habitat Horticulture brings greenery indoors with the Living Table

Living Table Habitat Horticulture

Indoor gardening is fun and a neat solution for people living in compact urban apartments to exercise their green thumb. We have earlier covered some of the best indoor planters for the urban spaces and this time, we have the new Living Table from the house of Habitat Horticulture, a company founded with a goal of bringing greenery into the everyday lives of city inhabitants. The Living Table offers a new spin on the idea of ‘Garden to Table’ concept and brings greenery right on to home or office tables.

Handmade in the San Francisco Bay Area, the Living Tables are highly customizable, need little maintenance and watering is needed only once a month. Using capillary action, the water moves upwards by the Living table’s sub irrigation system.  Its 3/8 inch-thick tempered glass is able to support 180lb load per square foot.

Habitat Horticulture is offering custom shapes for the Living Table and the interested have the choice of color, wood finish and a choice of two plant palettes.

Great list man! These appliances are must have to every modern kitchen. One appliance I can suggest to the list are kitchen pop-up power outlets like this http://power-tower.com.au/product/powertower/ for charging or providing power outlets to kitchen appliances.

Nice try, the original design from which this fixture is derived is from Toronto CASTOR DESIGNS. Your ripped off version doesn’t allow light to glow to the ends of the tubes.
