Designed by Holon ID, a German industrial design firm founded by David Saupe and Aaron Rauh, the “MK” is mobile/modular cooking and kitchen furniture that aims to address the diverse needs of the modern food culture. The MK expandable system has been designed especially for the spontaneous cooking experience outside the regular environment like terrace or garden. The connecting steel brackets ensure easy and quick assembly and maximum mobility. While individual elements can be used, the users can also assemble a number of modules surfaces of various sizes.

The self-contained unit comes with built-in hob gas cartridges. Owing to the modularity of the design, the compact-sized MK is of great use for different household sizes, from single-parent families to nuclear families.
