DIY Tron: Legacy coffee table for geeky man caves

So, what do you make of five meters of $70 RGB LED lights and a custom tabletop? Reddit DIYer xLunchboxxx, who happens to have an obsession for the digital world of Tron, has created a geeky coffee table that brings futuristic neon style right into your living room. To create a stunning piece, xLunchboxxx took help from custom fabricator Formulor to give shape to his 2D plans and create a wonderful 2-piece 3D tabletop. The plug-in coffee table illuminates in a range of colors and there is a charging point for your phone/tablet in the table’s center.

Moreover, the Tron: Legacy inspired coffee table also boasts wireless and wired connection options via micro USB and 3.5 mm audio cable. All we need now is a pair of Tron chairs and it would be perfect home theater furniture set for any man cave.

Great list man! These appliances are must have to every modern kitchen. One appliance I can suggest to the list are kitchen pop-up power outlets like this http://power-tower.com.au/product/powertower/ for charging or providing power outlets to kitchen appliances.

Nice try, the original design from which this fixture is derived is from Toronto CASTOR DESIGNS. Your ripped off version doesn’t allow light to glow to the ends of the tubes.

So where do I buy one?
