Celebrating the 50th anniversary of John Glenn as the first American astronaut to orbit the Earth, designers at Raumfieber have created a compact and sophisticated pendant light that seems to take you to the Star Wars world. Dubbed as “Mercury,” the spacecraft lamp is carved out of PVC sheets to maintain a trendy design. Measuring 7 x 7″ (WH) in dimensions, the precision-cut lamp touts brushed steel finish with an exclusive giclee printed pattern to complement the modern home decor.

Spreading a warm illumination with LED bulb, the custom made lamp integrates 10′ of adjustable cord to keep your space clutter free. Removing all the buttons form its surface for a clean design, the orbiter lamp seems to integrate touch sensors as you can turn it on/off with a gentle tap of your hand. Priced at around $100, the stylish lighting will possibly be available in a black or white color options.
